Capital Actuary

Key Responsibilities - Support the delivery of capital requirements (e.g. SCR, ECA, Standard Formula)
- Run and analyse capital models to assess business decisions
- Develop and present management information for senior stakeholders
- Contribute to internal model development, parameterisation, and improvements
- Perform model validation and identify/resolve limitations
- Maintain model documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support ORSA production, including stress and scenario testing
- Collaborate with risk and business teams to embed model use in decision-making

About You - Capital modelling expertise
- Knowledge of stochastic risk modelling or parameterisation
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, data manipulation, and programming skills (e.g. VBA, SQL, Python)
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
