We’re looking for a pensions professional to join a busy Defined Benefit onboarding team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work between home and office while delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
The Role
- Provide manual calculations and claims support for Defined Benefit pension schemes
- Draft clear communications to scheme members and third-party intermediaries
- Produce accurate quotations and ensure compliance with scheme specifications
- Authorise payments and maintain scheme records for non-standard arrangements
- Act as a technical point of contact for priority or sensitive schemes
- Identify and resolve data anomalies while following standard operating procedures
- Communicate key updates to internal teams and third parties
What We’re Looking For
- Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit pension schemes and their administration
- Awareness of relevant legislation, including GDPR and Consumer Duty
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines
- Clear and empathetic communication with a range of stakeholders
- Customer-focused approach with initiative to reduce risks and improve processes
